Traceability and sustainability are important to consumers today and an expert panel will headline a discussion on them at the Vicenzaoro January Jewellery Boutique Show. The show will run in Vicenza from January 19 to 24, 2018 and host 1,500 brands.
The announcement about the initiative was made at a press conference by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) Executive Vice President Matteo Marzotto, along with Managing Director Corrado Facco. Also in attendance were Italian Trade Agency President Michele Scannavini, Confindustria Federorafi President Ivana Ciabatti, Alba Cappellieri, professor at the Milan Polytechnic and Director of the Museo del Gioiello jewellery museum in Vicenza, and World Jewellery Confederation CIBJO President Gaetano Cavalieri.
The panel discussion will take place at the VISIO.NEXT summit on luxury and jewellery that will be hosted by the show and will focus on the future of jewellery retail, highlighting the multi-channel character of distribution — the last frontier in consumer relationships.
The show will also be the venue for the awards ceremony of the Andrea Palladio International Jewellery Awards, now its sixth edition. These awards celebrate the very best of Italian and international jewellery.
Trends, design and research will also be highlighted, with twelve twelve independent brands from around the world showcasing their innovative creations at the dedicated Design Room pavilion in the show’s ICON exhibition area. The participating brands are from Brazil, France, Italy, the US, the UAE, Turkey, Singapore, Spain and China.
