In charge of expanding the business network and developing personal relations with suppliers and clients. Redesigned our participation in expos to allow more future sales and follow ups, instead of focusing only on in-show sales. Maintained operational standards while improving supply chain process and timing.
Experimented with new budgeting and marketing methods to increase sales. Worked directly with suppliers, tightening bonds and developing a more effective network for our distribution business. Focused on jewelry and luxury watches, but also dealt with diamonds and precious gems.
My first time as a director and president. The time at Joyeria Marfil de Oro was a long learning experience in wholesale distribution, management, marketing and finance. I decided to relocate in 2009 and change direction, but until then I held the position for over 25 years, increasing annual revenues even in down markets, creating new business partners when the market seemed saturated and improving our delivery time when others said we maxed out. This is a precious gem in my past.
